Ah...one of those places you'd pass by without a second thought. It's 70's brownish tones and generic block letters "DAVID'S BAGELS" printed on a blue awning. But a nice just tough enough dough and a generous serving of fresh cream cheese. If you go at 6 am when it just opens, you see all the doctors and nurses on their way to Beth Israel nearby, and you feel kind of like a spy to be up that early.

Bagel Express II on 93rd and 2nd. Whole wheat sesame bagel with chive cream cheese is delicious. I ate here almost every morning when I lived in NY. Their coffee is good too.
