La Barca in the marina, Osha Thai on 2nd in SOMA and Firenze By Night Ristorante in NB
6
La Barca was my vote, but I forgot about Osha Thai and Firenze- both are really good calls! Have you tried the Gnocchi at Firenze by Night? It is probably the best I have ever had.
50
yes- everything at that place is soooooooooooooooo good! I've been in the back room for group dinners more times than I can count!
7
I, just today, unknowingly walked by La Barca. I was in a hurry, staring at the sidewalk. But, when I got a whiff of a mysterious heavenly aroma, I stopped in my tracks. I teared up and started to salivate. "I need to eat here," I decided. "Soon, very soon." What should I get?
50

14
Don't forget the Spark Plug shooters!
9
Lewis, tell me about the Spark Plug shooters?

Equal parts vodka, Kahlua, and espresso in a dangerously easy-to-swallow shooter. Too many good times with that specialty of theirs.

Shalimar Restaurant for indian/pakistani on taylor and jones I think- so so so good

Huh, sounds like they'd be having a war in the kitchen. What would you recommend over there?

I was reading some reviews, this place looks awesome. I heard they didn't serve food which, in my opinion, is essential to the experience. Then, I was reassured by the fact that they let you bring in your own food. Now I'm imagining a picnic with a big screen.
6
A Polk street favorite of mine. Perfect place for those of you who like to get a little rowdy on Sunday Funday.

San Francisco Vintners Market at Fort Mason- fun and tons of wine- I advise to eat first and/or bring a snack in your purse!
5
I've been dying to go to San Francisco Vintners Market. What was your favorite wine last time you went?
50
too many to choose from! I'd say get the reserve ticket to try wines worth $50.00 plus a bottle
5
That's not so bad for a nice bottle of wine. Any wine shops you like in the city?
50
Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant and there is a wine shop on 8th and harrison that's good- cant think of the name
5
You know, Pinchit has a deal right now for a $45 Grapebomb Napa card. They're usually $100! I think I might have to get one.
Thanks Ricquel! See you there.

Submarine Center, West Portal

The reviews are excellent, but the menu seems quite long. What would you recommend to a carnivore with a constant hankering for stinky cheese?
50
you have one and you will crave it and dream about it- not even kidding! get the first one on the list....
13
hmm...I've never been there! I use to live minutes away from West Portal. Is it new?
50
nope- I think its been there 25 years + http://www.submarinecenter.com/
13
hmm I might have to visit it next time I'm in the area!
7
I'm glad you listed this place. I live on that side of the city and don't know many great places to eat.
