Guy Fieri's growing on me. Tee Off Bar is the only spot that I've been to, and their pancetta mac n cheese is to die for. Literally, try it. You'll die.
Let's be real, everyone wants to be like Guy Fieri when they grow up. Maybe minus the manic personality and horrible hair, but at the very least, we'd all like to eat like him. The Tee Off (featured on Fieri's show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives”) offers a mac n’ cheese dinner to die for. Literally, order it a few times and you might actually die. But you’d die happy, and at the end of the day, what more could you ask for?
Blackthorn Tavern is awesome. I love how they don't seem to have problems with dogs. I also like Tee Off Bar in the Outer Richmond. Amazing food, good brews, and ping pong in the back.
Conveniently located directly across the street from my apartment, Tee Off looks disgusting from the exterior. This works to my advantage and keeps this place fairly empty all nights of the week, which is great because it means more Mac N Cheese for me. Ooey, gooey and a little crispy around the edges, this is some of the best liquid cheese and noodle I had eaten. Including, sorry to say it, my mom's.
I definitely appreciate Tee Off's no fear approach to mac and cheese, but it's a little intense for me. It's massive! And that's saying a lot since I consider pork and cheese to be dietary staples.
Tee Off Bar's pancetta mac n cheese ought to be illegalized. If not, we might medicinally repurpose its power and apply it as a high-strength pain killer.
The best first-date I’ve been on involved a “Mac and Cheese Safari” where my companion and I indulged in cheesy goodness from The Grove, Circa, Tee Off Bar and The Blue Plate.
Ha! That sounds amazing! Speaking of Goldfish, have you ever been to Fishbowl Bar & Grill in Pac Heights? They offer up free bowls of goldfish to patrons.
