This is my favorite place to eat it the city. The house margaritas are spectacular and cheap!! The chicken fajitas are definitely my favorite. The veggies have never failed to be juicy and fresh, and the chicken tender. I'm not sure if the tortillas are homemade, but the flower tortillas incredibly tasty. The waiter/waitress' are super friendly and make sure you're happy. Since this place is so great its a little busy on the weekends, but it is totally worth the wait!

One word: MARGARITAS. Their magical blend of sweet and salty masks the often overly sharp taste of tequila to give you that perfect buzz with your friends. And I could go on for hours about their food. Just trust me: the Pozole Verde.

It might be difficult to get a table if you're bringing a lively crowd. But the margs and chips are worth it.

Don Ramon's - it's a photo finish for me between Don Ramon's and Puerto Alegre, but there's just something about the great margaritas, fresh food, and over-the-top friendly staff that makes this my go-to Mexican food spot in SF.
