Boom Boom Room - Love this place.

We are lucky to live in a city with an amazingly large number of awesome music venues of all shapes and sizes. It's tough to choose, as they're all for different crowd capacities, but Great American Music Hall is just so gorgeous and intimate with it's ornate Victorian flourishes and deep reds and golds that it has to take the cake. As for music in a club setting, the Boom Boom Room always has fantastic music, has a great stage and sound system, and has red velvet stage curtains and an in-house Hammond organ! What more could you ask for?

In the city: Boom Boom Room for good music, a stiff drink, and laid-back ambiance. If you're look for a big venue, Outside Lands is the way to go. I've gone twice and had the time of my life.
