Take a Break: 5 Places to Snack in the FiDi

I’ve come to the conclusion that kindergartners really have it made. For one thing, falling asleep in the middle of the day for a few hours isn’t frowned upon, it’s applauded. For another, they get to enjoy one of my favorite times of the day several times a day: Snack Time. Oh, Snack Time. How joyous you once were, with your grape popsicles and handfuls of goldfish crackers.

As adults, "snacks” provided by our companies often consist of marginal coffee, water from the tap and the occasional stale cookie. And, if you’re lucky enough to have a plethora of real snacks at your convenience, you might be getting tired of those multi-grain granola bars, slabs of beef jerky or tiny bags of trail mix.

It’s time to beat the break-time blues and take back what was once ours! Tell your boss you’ll be back in ten, and head out to one of these five places to join the movement and bring snacking back.

The Ferry Building's Farmer Market is the go-to spot. You can find lots of good food to snack on.

I only have one word to describe this blog, nostalgia. Snack time and nap time were the absolute best! Black bean mooncakes are my favorite! ; ) Yumm!!!
