Hipsters in Manhattan: Top 5 Hideouts
Let's face it, there are a lot of hipsters in New York. They came in droves, wearing button downs and Toms, and since have infiltrated every borough. Although most have now settled in Williamsburg, they can still be spotted traversing around Manhattan.
Now, not every hipster is alike. Some have bikes, some have beards, others have tattoos or bow ties and almost all of them have some form of hat. They're still pretty easy to pick out of the New York crowd. You can usually find a hipster browsing the stacks in the Strand or having a coffee at Stumptown.
Unfortunately for the hipsters, the bookstores, boutiques and coffee shops are all becoming just so mainstream. Never fear, my facial-haired friends, here are five locations where you can go and discuss independent films and co-ops far from the maddening crowd.
