Noodle Craze: Ramen vs. Phở
One of the best parts of living in San Francisco is not having to settle for food court Asian fare. But soon a new problem presents itself: Which cuisine do you choose? Of course it all comes down to personal taste, but comparisons can be made.
Take ramen and phở, for example. They're both noodle soups, both cheap eats and both bursting with the flavors of their native cultures. But after a few years of rigorous taste-testing, I think I've figured out which dish has the better value proposition.
