SF's Must-Try Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Picture this: aged Stilton blue cheese drizzled with truffle oil, melted between two slices of toasted rye bread and topped with a spoonful or two of honey. I have just described my absolute favorite dish from my absolute favorite restaurant, a magical creation that only costs $4 during happy hour. Unfortunately, this restaurant happens to be 5 hours away, so I only get to have the sandwich once every blue-cheese moon. Lucky for me, there are a few places in San Francisco that give that mind-blowing sandwich a run for its money while also providing me with a little cheese-slice of home. These are my five favorite places to indulge in one of the unhealthiest culinary inventions known to man: the grilled cheese sandwich.
